About Chef Prashant Chipkar

Born and brought up in Goa, India, Chef Prashant pursued his education in Hotel Management from Mumbai and started his culinary career with the Taj Group of Hotels – one of the leading chain of hotels in India.

Chef Prashant’s foray into the culinary world began by exploring flavors in the kitchens of Mumbai and Goa that eventually led him into working at some of the top and prestigious restaurants in cities like Bangkok, Geneva and Dubai. His passion for Indian cooking and constant pursuit for discovering its diversity has given him opportunities to be a part of some of the best kitchens in the world including GAGGAN in Bangkok which was named ASIA’s #1 and #10 in WORLD’S 50 Best restaurant from 2015-2018.
In addition, Chef Prashant was honored to work as a chef de cuisine at Michelin starred RASOI at the Mandarin Oriental, Geneva. Rasoi was consistently awarded one MICHELIN STAR for 2 years under chef Prashant’s leadership.

With all the diverse international exposure, Prashant has developed his unique cooking style that is marked with global influences, showcasing local ingredients and progressive modern techniques.
Currently working as Executive Chef in Dubai – responsible for opening new and exciting brands like Bombay Bungalow, Masti and My Mosa.
Chef Prashant’s other passions include Travel and Photography.
